About The Petal Parlor

Hi! I'm Lindsay, owner and florist behind The Petal Parlor in Barnesville, Minnesota.

I've always loved art, color, design, flowers, and the stories that connect people. I never imagined I'd get to combine all of those things into a career, but in 2023, The Petal Parlor became that opportunity.

What started as a dream of owning my own flower shop has grown into a place where I get to create, connect with people in my community, and help mark all kinds of moments in their lives.

Flowers for Real Life

Flowers show up for a lot.

They're there for birthdays, weddings, babies, anniversaries, apologies, celebrations, ordinary Tuesdays, and some of the hardest days a family will ever experience.

That's one of the things I love most about being a florist.

I create fresh floral arrangements with the person and occasion in mind rather than treating every order like it should look exactly the same. Whenever possible, I work with fresh, seasonal flowers and use color, texture, and thoughtful design to create something that feels appropriate for the moment.

Sometimes that means a bright birthday arrangement. Sometimes it's a wedding bouquet someone will carry down the aisle. Sometimes it's flowers designed to honor a person whose family is saying goodbye.

Every one of those orders matters for a different reason.

More Than a Flower Shop

Fresh flowers may be at the heart of The Petal Parlor, but they're not the only thing you'll find here.

The shop also carries houseplants, plant-care items, greeting cards, gifts, home and lifestyle goods, and other fun finds that change throughout the year.

Having a storefront gives me the opportunity to find products I genuinely enjoy and to support other small businesses and makers by carrying their work whenever I can.

You can come in because you need flowers and leave with a plant.

Or a candle.

Or a card.

Or something you absolutely did not come in for.

That's part of the fun.

Weddings, Sympathy & Everything Between

The Petal Parlor creates custom flowers for weddings and events, sympathy and funeral services, birthdays, celebrations, everyday occasions, and all the moments that don't fit neatly into a category.

I also offer local flower delivery in Barnesville and select surrounding communities.
